The Sleepaxa Lens Library
The Lens Library
Every Sleepaxa lens,
explained simply.
Each Sleepaxa lens is engineered for one job — and independently lab-tested. Here is what every lens does, its tint, how much light it lets through (VLT), which wavelengths it calms, and exactly when to wear it.
Quick answer
Sleepaxa makes wavelength-selective photobiological lenses in four families. Migraine & photophobia: FL-41 (pink-rose, 60% VLT), FL-41 Darker (41%), and the patented NeuroCalm FLX+ (smoke grey-green, 22% VLT, Patent No. 587746) — all calming the 480–520 nm blue–green band. Sleep & evening: Amber Evening (50%), Red Sleep (15%), and Circadian560 (wine red, 17%, blocking 100% below 560 nm). Daytime/screens: DayActive 1.0 (yellow, 76%, high-HEV). Colour contrast: Chrome Assist Pro (coming soon). Every lens is available in zero power, prescription and progressive, with high-index (low-thickness), custom, and kids-to-adult options.

Three words, in plain language.
VLT
How bright the lens feels
Visible Light Transmission = how much light passes through. Higher % = lighter/brighter (e.g. 76% is barely tinted), lower % = darker (e.g. 15% is deep, for night). Lab-measured.
Wavelength
Which light it calms
Light is a spectrum measured in nanometres (nm). Migraine/photophobia is driven mostly by blue–green ~480–520 nm; melatonin is suppressed by blue ~460 nm. Our lenses filter those bands selectively.
Tint
The colour you see
Pink-rose for migraine comfort, amber / red / wine-red for evening & sleep, yellow for daytime screens, smoke grey-green for our deepest patented lens. The tint is a result of the filtration — not decoration.
Every Sleepaxa lens is available in zero power, prescription and progressive — with high-index options for low thickness, custom lens fit, and sizing from kids to adults.

Good to know
Frequently asked.
What does VLT mean?
Visible Light Transmission — the percentage of light the lens lets through. A 76% lens is very light (barely tinted); a 15% lens is very dark. Lower VLT = deeper filtering, which is why sleep/night lenses are darkest.
What is FL-41, and why pink-rose?
FL-41 is a rose-family tint studied for light sensitivity and migraine. It selectively reduces the blue–green band (around 480–520 nm) that many people find triggering, while keeping the rest of your vision natural. The pink-rose colour is simply the result of that filtration.
What is NeuroCalm FLX+, and why smoke grey-green?
NeuroCalm FLX+ is Sleepaxa's deepest, patented dual-band lens (Indian Patent No. 587746) for the most intense light sensitivity. Its dual-band architecture appears as a neutral smoke grey-green tint that preserves colour and traffic-signal recognition. It is currently available only through a Sleepaxa consultation.
Are prescription and progressive lenses available?
Yes — every Sleepaxa lens comes in zero power, single-vision prescription and progressive. High-index options are available for thinner, lighter lenses at higher powers, along with custom lens fit and sizing from kids to adults.
Amber vs Red vs Wine-red for sleep?
Amber (Evening Sleep, 50% VLT) is lighter, for the hours before bed and can be worn indoor–outdoor. Red Sleep (red, 15%) and Circadian560 (wine red, 17%) are deeper — blocking 100% of light below ~560 nm — for the last hour before sleep and night use. Circadian560 is indoor-only.
Can I wear these while driving?
DayActive, FL-41 Darker and NeuroCalm FLX+ preserve traffic-signal recognition and are suitable for daytime road use. Red Sleep and Circadian560 are for evening/indoor use only — not for driving.
Are these medical devices?
